About the Delaware R/C Club

The Delaware R/C Club is a chartered club of the Academy of Model Aeronautics

We are a group of Radio Control Model Aviation enthusiasts whose purpose is to enjoy and promote the hobby and sport of R/C model aviation.

Our Flying Site is located within the Lums Pond State Park in Kirkwood, Delaware and features two large grass runways for fixed and rotary wing aircraft.

Next Meeting

The next General Membership Meeting will be held at the Flying Field on Sunday October 8, 2023 starting at 12:00 Noon.

Upcoming Club Events

Annual Club Picnic - October 8, 2023 - The Club will provide hamburgers, hotdogs, and drinks. Feel free to bring your favorite covered dish to share!

Delaware R/C Flea Market - Saturday November 18 - Delaware City Fire Hall located at 815 5th St, Delaware City, DE 19706 from 8:00AM through 1:00PM. Doors open to vendors at 7:30AM. Food will be served by the Ladies Auxiliary of Delaware City Fire Company. For Table reservation please send email to info@delawarerc.org
