Warbirds Over Delaware Update
Online pre-registration is under way. To date we have received over 35 pilot registrations. Two new features have been added to the event so far. An Aircraft Auction will be scheduled for 5:30 pm on Saturday, July 10th. R/C aircraft and accessories can be entered into the auction. The Club will charge a commission of 10% of the selling price of each item. Mike Hudak has worked with full scale pilot Roger Robinson to create a great new raffle: the winner will receive a ride in a WWII-era warbird and will be able to choose between a PT-17 Stearman or a North American AT-6 Advanced Trainer. Only 100 tickets will be sold, at $10 each, so the odds of winning are good. You must be present at the drawing to win.
Stay tuned for further information.

Field Notes
One person showed up for the trail clearing activity on Saturday, April 24. Three of the trails were cleared as far back as possible; swampy conditions were encountered about 150’ into each trail. The field was scheduled to be rolled on Sunday, April 25 and the roller showed up as scheduled. Unfortunately, the rear tires on the roller started to make impressions in the earth so the rolling was postponed until a tireless roller could be secured. Thanks to all who participated in the pavilion unwrapping party!
