Safety Rules
Keep it safe! Field marshals will be circulating around the pits and flying stations during the events and all questions and concerns should be brought to their attention. Please read the field rules.
Other Info
Parking Fees: The Delaware R/C Club will pay all parking fees (1 vehicle max) for registered pilots. Registered pilots will receive a "parking pass" at the event. The parking pass must be displayed on your vehicle's windshield to avoid a $25/day fine.
Spectators are welcome at Heli's Over Delaware! Please keep in mind that our flying field is located within the Lum's Pond State Park and a park admission, either a day pass or annual permit, is required for each vehicle. Day passes for Delaware registered vehicles is $3.00, and $6.00 for out-of-state vehicles. There is a payment box locate at the entrance to the parking area of our flying field.
Food (Hot Dogs/Hamburgers/Sodas/Water, etc) will be sold by the Boy Scouts for Lunch on Friday, Breakfast & Lunch on Saturday and Sunday. The Pilot BBQ will be catered with a limit of 60 tickets available. Cost of $15 per person. All proceeds will be donated to the local Boy Scout troop. Be sure to purchase your BBQ tickets early! Pilot BBQ dinner will include: Chicken, Ribs, Potato Salad, Fruit Salad, Soda/Water.
All pilots are requested to attend the Pilots Meeting at 10:00 Saturday morning.
Tickets for the Raffle will be available for purchase at the event. Registered pilots will receive 1 free raffle ticket as part of registration. Anyone who crashes during the event will receive 1 free ticket to the Raffle. The Raffle will be drawn on Saturday at 4:00 PM. Winner of the Raffle must be present to win.
