Delaware R/C Club - R/C Flight Instruction

Important Announcement:
All pilots must be a current member of the Delaware R/C Club. Guests may fly up to 3 times within a calendar year and must be sponsored by a current Club member in good standing. Sponsored guests are required to sign the log book located in the top portion of the plastic storage box to the right of radio impound.

Frequent pilots (more than 3 times within a calendar year) who are not current Club members must register at the Ranger's Station.

All pilots must place a valid AMA card in the radio impound slot to obtain a frequency pin. Photo copies are not valid. No other form of ID will be accepted.

Delaware R/C Club 'Airplane Flight Instruction' Request

The Delaware R/C Club offers flight instruction at no charge to its members. Our volunteer flight instructors are available to assist you with every aspect of learning to fly radio controlled model airplanes and/or helicopters.

Our flight instructors can advise you on selecting a fixed wing or rotory aircraft best suited as a R/C trainer.

We have "buddy box" training systems for Futaba, JR, and Airtronics radio systems.

Flight instruction is usually conducted during the weekend. However, a flight instructor may be available during the week, especially in the summer months.
