Two Tony's Memorial Fly
In (AMA/IMAC)
The Two Tony's Memorial Fly-In is an
AMA sanctioned annual Club event to honor the memory of two of our
Club's founders; Tony Wilford and Tony Malchione.
The Two Tony's Memorial Fly-In will
be held June 6 - 7, 2009 as a Scale Aerobatics IMAC contest.
If you are interested in trying IMAC, this is a great opportunity,
and you don't need to be a member to try it. Any of the current IMAC
flyers would be happy to show you what it's about. Even if you don't
fly, you can see some of the best pilots and the highest-performing
R/C aircraft at an IMAC event. The event flyer is attached.
If you do plan on competing in this event, please go to

and register, so we have an accurate count of pilots.
Some of the competitors may be at the field on Friday June 5 to
practice, but the field will be open to all that day. We will finish
the contest early afternoon on Sunday so the field can be reopened
to all members.
Finally, thanks to all Delaware R/C members for supporting this
event! We still need helpers to make the whole thing run smoothly.
You can also learn a lot by volunteering as a scribe for the judges.
