Secretary’s Scratchings
The General Membership meeting of the Delaware R/C Club was held on Tuesday, June 1st, 2004. President Brian Pasternak called the meeting to order at 7:30
Treasurer’s Report
Brian Pasternak gave treasurer’s report.
Membership – 2004 194
The Treasurer’s Report was accepted as presented.
New Members/ Guests
At this months meeting, new members included Chris Lavell, Rich Blymm, Bruce Dann, and Steven Catalser.
Club events
Warbirds Over Delaware will be taking place on July 8th through July 11th. Volunteers are needed, so if you’re available to help please sign up via web or fill out forms will be provided.
Helis Over Delaware will be held on July 23rd through the 25th.
The fun scale contest will be held on Saturday June 19th. Volunteers are needed as judges for the event.
Field Maintenance
The field was rolled on May second, and will be rolled again just prior to Warbirds.
The Pavilion roof is getting estimates from three local companies to inspect the roof and make necessary repairs.
Flag Pole - Brian Pasternak requested quotes from 4 local companies for a 25x3x.125 flag pole including installation. 2 quotes have arrived to date. Need to present to the Board for approval.

Safety Minute
This months’ safety tip is to make sure you do not taxi in the pits. Also, if one of your planes goes in, watch out for poison ivy.
50/50
This month’s 50/50 winner was Derek Marks, and he walked away with $36.
