Thank you for your interest in Warbirds Over Delaware.
Warbirds Over Delaware runs from Wednesday through Saturday, July 12 - 15, 2023. The pilots start to arrive and setup their displays and RV's starting on Wednesday. Friday and Saturday are our big days for spectators. On these days, most of the pilots will be in attendance.
There is no formal schedule of events, with the exception of "Half Time" shows on Friday and Saturday starting around 12:00 Noon. During the Half Time show, special aerial fly-by's, grouped by historical time periods, are performed. Starting with a sky filled with WWI aircraft, then WWII fighters and bombers, to modern day turbine jet fighters.
Parking
Spectator Parking for Warbirds Over Delaware 2023 for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will be at the Flying Field only. Parking will be subject to availability.
Spectator Parking for Saturday will be at the
Lums Pond Campground, 1 mile north of the R/C Flying Field on Route
71. Spectators with a valid handicap placard or vehicle tag will be
permitted to park at the R/C Flying Field.
Buses will transport
spectators to and from the Campground starting at 8:30AM through
4:00PM.
Spectators are soley responsible for either having an
Annual Park Entrance Pass, or a Daily Park Pass on their vehicles.
Daily Entrance Park Passes must be paid by the spectator using the
GREEN Park Daily Entrance Fee Envelopes available at the entrance of
the parking area or available at the Registration Desk at the

Vehicles with a valid Handicap Tag or Parking placard will be
permitted to park at the R/C Flying Field each day. A drop-off area
is available near the spectator areas.
Food
Hot food will be sold.
Pit Passes
Pit passes will be available for purchase for $10.00 per person. Pit passes will allow non-event participants to walk through the pit areas to get a close up view of the scale warbird aircraft and speak to the pilots. Pit passes for children are free but children must be accompanied by an adult.
What to Bring
- Water - water is available for purchase at the event, but the lines may be long and it will be hot.
- Sun Protection - Sun Screen, Hat, Sun Glasses
